Education & Background

Michael Edwards earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from Lamar University and his Juris Doctor from Louisiana State University. During law school, Michael gained valuable legal experience as a Judicial Extern. After graduation, he built a strong foundation in client advocacy through hands-on roles, including serving as a Case Management Paralegal.

Throughout his career, Michael has demonstrated a commitment to serving vulnerable populations, working in roles such as a Staff Attorney at the Montgomery County Women’s Center, where he represented survivors of domestic violence in matters involving Protective Orders, Divorce, Custody, and Modifications.

Professional Career

Michael’s legal career has been centered on advocating for individuals during some of the most challenging times in their lives. His early experience in Mass Torts and later work as a Family and Probate Law Staff Attorney have equipped him with a broad skill set and the ability to handle complex legal cases with empathy and precision.
